![]() Lunch is at 11:10, 30 min, then another stand up/stretches. Our scanners pretty much tell us where to go and what to get, we just have to get there fast and know what we're getting.Ĩ:50 is a 15 min break, but really it's ten minutes because you use 5 at least walking to and from the break room. I'm usually in the mods, which is one of two sides that has three floors to it with like 150 aisles full of stuff. We have to pick at least 15 items by 6:45, it's called fast start. then we do stretches.Īfter that we log into our handheld scanners and figure out where we are going. Feel free to ask more if you want, I'll check back when I wake up.Ħ:30 pm Stand up, which is basically like 100 people standing around the supervisor while he talks to us and gives us "safety tips" and "success stories" etc. If this doesn't work I can probably find something else but I'm guessing it doesn't really matter this much since I'm just a normal human person Įdit, 1 pm (central) I gotta get some sleep. bna 3 is the name of our warehouse, they name them after the airports. Background info: I work night shift, 6:30 pm to 5 a.m, Thursday through Monday. I spent my shift thinking about the various things I like or find interesting about working at Amazon and figured I'd do one of these since I feel like sharing my perspective, especially since most people seem to think Amazon is a crap employer (I checked up through the past AMAs).
